Electrical energy was provided to the center after it was completely cut off a thing that causes to stop the delivery of services to

students, scholars, researchers and members of the university, The following actions were done:

 A- Repairing the generator of center after it stopped working for a period of three months, moreover, it was maintained,

      a schedule of maintenance was prepared and  acommittee of employees was formed  to carry out these tasks.

 B- Making connection to the line of emergency so as to ensure the work at the center when the generator being maintained.

 C- Linking the national electricity line after a break of more than six months, where the national electricity did not reach the                 center.

After  being semi malfunctioned, the section has resumed its usual activity  in November 2012 in the subsequent period when

 commissioning assistant lecturer (Mahdi Mohammed Moul),there have been a number of the great achievements that have

contributed to the development of the section and make it the real interface  not only to the center, but also to the University for its

serious Services  and professional staff in work which includes engineers and competent staff , the following is a brief of the most

important achievements:

1 - In the past, the work depends entirely on small printers type  Canon 2900 with very slow work.

 2 – the section has been provided with copy machines of large-sized black and white, which were linked as network to computer

and in doing so has been gaining speed factor where exceeding the speed of the hardware of the 40 ppm compared to printers that

do not exceed the speed of the 8 sheets per minute which safes the time that is  important, forcing the student and employee to go

to the center to gain time. 

3. Utilizing the advantage of the program of the ( scan gear ) exist in machines that largely saves the time  due to archiving the

papers quickly and various formulas in addition to the accuracy of existing because there Alvedr and non-interference by the

employee working on the machine on position papers and how to flip and organize them as the machine itself does the task in a

more accurate and fittest way, unlike the work on the old scanners where they are very slow and tiring and need a manual for each

page of the work by the employee and the speed ratio is 1/60 of the old and the new.

 4 - Use a color copy machine, which has achieved a major breakthrough in the field of colored copying in terms of speed and the            time and archiving.

 In other words, the time factor and the speed is the reason behind visiting the section of printing, copying, and designs, the center

in turn earns the physical experience factor and increases the experience of its employees.

 5 – The section has been provided with desktop computers type system Lenovo to overcome the factor of slowness in the old

computers, such computers have contents of fast processors, which makes the use of special programs easier.

 6. Providing the colored printers MF8040 model that is the product of the  Canon Inc a leading company in the field of color

printing , these printers have provided colorful images of  high-quality also were used as a multiple  device as copy or Skinner or

printing device on the computer.

 7 - The section has provided services to the university departments and centers in maintenance and repair services  on special                  hardware copying and printing.

 In Unique experience, a contract has been done  between  electronic cultural services center with dormitories Directorate to carry

out the maintenance for the  Directorate computers, including for (HW & SW) and to host a course includes training staff from the

Directorate  to sustain and maintain computers after finishing the course.
